Who is the Green Enterprise Conference for? Anyone is welcome to attend. We want to learn from and feature businesses that have developed innovative ways of operating their businesses sustainably. Larger businesses are welcome and encouraged to attend. We are focusing on smaller businesses to bring greater attention to the policy, capital, technology and innovation needed to link them to other businesses and markets in our region. We want to help them operate more sustainably and support their growth overtime. How do you define Green Enterprise? A green enterprise is a company that attempts to function without creating a negative impact on the local or global environment. As part of the process, the company is constantly looking for better ways to make the business more environmentally friendly, from the acquisition of materials to delivery of the product to the customer. My business isn't green, should I still come? Absolutely, even if you are just interested in learning more about emerging green businesses. topWho is hosting this Green Enterprise Conference? Enterprise for Equity, in collaboration with many other partners, has worked to raise awareness of the power of growing green from the start. Enteprise for Equity was launched from a non-profit called the Sustainable Community Roundtable (now called Sustainable South Sound) and learned early on from the businesses who went through their comprehensive business training program that growing a business sustainably can increase profits. topWhere do I call/email for more information?
